South Jersey Gas Selects TechInsight for BI Reporting

Broomfield, CO (September 27, 2006) South Jersey Gas which provides natural gas to over 325,000 customers in southern New Jersey, has selected TechInsight from 3-POINT Technologies for corporate reporting, data integration, and predictive analytics. Implementation of TechInsight at South Jersey Gas is expected to be complete by the first week of December 2006.

TechInsight provides a common reporting and analysis platform allowing companies to leverage existing systems seamlessly. Designed specifically for field services companies, TechInsight combines traditional reporting with in-depth analytics, and new approaches. With a proven methodology for developing customer specific algorithms, TechInsight establishes accurate job standards that account for travel, job type, material codes, and other significant attributes.

South Jersey Gas uses an in-house developed work management system with automated dispatching capabilities and Panasonic Toughbooks for each of the service technicians.

With TechInsight, South Jersey Gas will have accurate, defensible techinician reporting, Six Sigma reporting, unit cost information, and other custom reports to be defined during the implementation process.
