3-POINT performs complete training from managers to technicians!

We don't believe that "training the trainer" is as effective as hearing the message straight from the horse's mouth that's why we prefer to train everyone from technician to CEO on our products. This allows for consistency in communicating definitions, reporting criteria, and interpretation.

We also realize that everyone absorbs information differently, that's why we use a variety of methods in our training.

Hands On Training

Probably the most effective way to learn for most technicians is to see their results on TechInsight or TechRoute. We typically ask for a volunteer (the volunteer is usually the most vocal technician) and we go through each order, work standards vs. onsite times, drive time estimates vs. actual drive times, quality calculations, and other key performance indicators. This methodology speaks to the frontline much clearer than just showing calculations and discussing criteria. This addresses the real concerns that are out there and how exceptions are handled in a much more personal way. The informal discussions and questions that come up during these sessions are valuable in communicating the message.

Once technicians see that they truly recieve credit for tougher jobs, longer drive times, and more difficult areas, many of their fears of the system subside and acceptance is one giant step closer.

Materials Based Training

In addtion to hands on training, we provide complete supporting materials for each report and calculation in the form of PowerPoint presentations, user manuals, and cheat-sheets with detailed explanations and real-world examples.
Additional online documention and company specific FAQs are also available through the application.

Computer Based Training

Our computer based training is specifically designed for new hires or individuals that didn't attend a training session. Although, this form of training doesn't include some of the valuable informal discussion that occurs during live training sessions, it is an effective method as a refresher course and understanding report definitions.
